Francesca Mangione
Dr. Francesca Mangione (DDS, PhD) has got her bachelor’s degree in dentistry (2009) and her specialization (2013) in Oral surgery at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italie).
Named assistant professor in 2013, she is currently associate professor in dento-maxillo-facial imaging and oral surgery at the University Paris Cité as well as researcher in the laboratory of Orofacial pathologies, Imaging and Biotherapies (URP2496).
Her European PhD focused on a large preclinical model of dental pulp tissue regeneration and its assessment by innovative micro-Ct and CBCT angiography analysis. She currently develops non-invasive non-destructive methods for vascularization assessment in oro-facial tissues engineering. She actively collaborates with “Istituto Superiore di Sanità” research institute (Italie), KU Leuven (Belgium) and Unicamp (Brazil) University.
