Silvina Friedlander
Silvina Friedlander Barenboim is a Dentist (TLV University 1992), an Oral Medicine Specialist ((TLV University 2004), BSc in Medical Science (Medical School, Ben Gurion University 1989), Director of the Oral Medicine Specialty Program in Sheba Medical Center, leads the Salivary Gland Clinical Service and recently appointed to Head of Service of Oral Maxillofacial Imaging. From 2004-2015 Head of the Oral Maxillofacial Imaging Service in the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical Center where she was responsible for all DMFR activities: teaching, research and imaging service. At that time, she advanced the implementation of digital imaging to the Dental School and was the first to obtain CBCT Technology into a Dental School & Medical Center in Israel. In 2021 she was elected one the best 100 doctors in Israel by Forbs Magazine. She is a team member in the multi-disciplinary service for patients with Oculo-Pharyngeal Muscular Dystrophy (OPMD).
