Zarah Yakoob
Dr Zarah Yakoob graduated with her degree in Dentistry from the University o the Western Cape in 2008. During her undergraduate years she discovered her love for maxillofacial radiology. In 2011 she completed her post graduate diploma in diagnostic imaging and thereafter commenced with her master’s degree in maxillofacial radiology that was completed in 2013. She has worked and taught in maxillofacial radiology for the past 13 years, both at the University of the Western Cape and currently the university of Pretoria. Over the years she has been actively involved in serving patients in the field of maxillofacial radiology, teaching and training both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as conducting research within the discipline. She is currently completing her MBA in healthcare at the globally ranked business school, GIBS, with her research component in the sphere of digital and technological innovation in healthcare.
